Nowadays, office software programs and operating systems are often subdivided into different applications. The "Sundarapandian" is an obvious display of this trend. The movie has a screenplay written by Anjana Ali Khan and was directed by Mohankumar Gopalakrishnan. The film was released on Friday, 16th December 2011, in the India only to the theater screens. It was well received by the audience and gained good reviews from the critics. Sundarapandian is a romantic thriller movie shot in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and starring Arya, Shamili and Prakash Raj. The movie was produced by TSC Creative Media Ltd under their famous film production company named as "Geethanjali Cine Arts". The movie is a story, which revolves around the life of a software engineer Amudha (Nayantara), who is leading a peaceful life after she successfully completes her work, and also she has successfully tied the knot with her boyfriend Yogi (Arya). Her only drawback is that her office gives her salary cuts after every four month for each time that she would skip work. Thus, keeping them safe from extra cutings, Amudha usually changes the shifts to avoid any cuts. But all her efforts are fail to change her office's behavior. Amudha is having a rather bad day, when she meets with an accident, which results in the hospitalization of her leg. This incident gives her a new platform to do something different after she had taken up this work for so long. With all these problems still continuing, Amudha once again thinks that it is better to quit for good for something new. But later, on one afternoon at tea time, she bumps into Yogi once again at the restaurant of his job and they talk about their past days. While they are chatting, all of a sudden they both hear strange noises coming from their office. It turns out that this is the first free day they have. Amudha takes this opportunity to take her new love on a trip to the place she has always wanted to see. But it seems, after they reach there, Amudha's hopes are completely shattered because of her realization that Yogi is no longer interested in her. On the other hand, she herself is waiting for a change in her life and sees this as an opportunity.
